Annotation

The article reviews the transposition of theDIRECTIVE 2010/64/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 20 October 2010 on the right to interpretation and translation in criminal proceedings andthe relevant amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code. Some discrepancies between the directive and the implementing Bulgarian provisions are identified. Proposals aiming at the full transposition of the directive are made.
