The articlediscusses the terms "transformation", "termination", "liquidation" and "deregistration", and the extent to which they are applicable to the Bulgarian orthodox church (BOC) as a centralized religious institution in its capacity of a legal entity (LE), as well to its local subdivisions constituting separate LE’s - dioceses, churches, and monasteries.
