Annotation
This article examines the very concept of the re-use of public sector information. It draws the reader’s attention to the development of the concept for public sector information from the legal point of view and the new means, that facilitate the transition to open data, introduced in Directive 2013/37/EU. The article underlines the importance of the new concept of the open data and prepares the reader for a deeper look into the essential changes in the field of re-use of public sector information. It is underlined the notion of Open license.
