Annotation
This paper represents a brief overview of the legal acts regulating the web accessibility at a European Union scale and their implementation in the Bulgarian national legislation. The main subject of interest in that matter is Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, followed by the Bulgarian Electronic government act. Therefor the core of the research are the latest amendments in the Electronic government act and its subject ordinances.
