On February 2, 2023, in no. 11 of the "Government Gazette" a Law on the Protection of Whistleblowers or Publicly Disclosing Information on Violations ("the Law") was promulgated, which establishes a regulation of relations regarding the provision of protection to whistleblowers in the public and private sectors or publicly disclose information about violations of Bulgarian legislation or acts of the European Union ("EU"), as well as the terms and conditions for submitting and considering such reports or publicly disclosed information.
