This material is a critical commentary and analysis of the sample application for participation in the competition for notaries, announced by order of the Minister of Justice dated 10.01.2023. Insofar as this model is an integral part of the said order, it represents an administrative act and as such should meet the legal requirements for authenticity. Due to the high social importance that this legal profession - notary has in the Bulgarian society, it is not right to be indifferent and to tolerate both insignificant and gross inconsistencies with the legislation in this regard.
