Annotation
The report examines the legal framework governing the right to free movement of workers who are nationals of EU Member States, as well as the associated employment rights. The regulatory framework is analyzed at both the EU and domestic legal levels. The study also explores key aspects regarding the grounds for establishing an employment relationship with EU nationals in Bulgaria. Furthermore, the analysis addresses the relationship between residence and the right to work, as well as the significance of residence status for the validity of the employment contract. Finally, the scope of the analysis includes the dimensions of the right to equal treatment and applicable minimum labor standards.
